| dc.description.abstract | Etnobotani mempelajari hubungan manusia dengan tumbuhan serta pemanfaatannya dalam kehidupan, termasuk sebagai obat tradisional. Modernisasi menyebabkan penurunan pengetahuan tentang tumbuhan obat, terutama di masyarakat Sunda Kasepuhan yang masih menjaga tradisi leluhur. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengetahuan dan pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat oleh Masyarakat Sunda Kasepuhan serta mengidentifikasi potensi tumbuhan obat yang terdapat di Desa Girijaya, Kabupaten Sukabumi. Metode digunakan, yaitu studi literatur, wawancara, observasi lapang, dan eksplorasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan sebanyak 60 spesies dari 30 famili yang didominasi oleh famili Zingiberaceae. Potensi tumbuhan yang teridentifikasi memiliki manfaat sebagai obat diperoleh sebanyak 17 spesies. Kunyit (Curcuma longa) menjadi tumbuhan yang paling dipercaya oleh masyarakat sebagai obat untuk meredakan penyakit lambung. Spesies yang pertukaran informasi antar masyarakatnya tinggi, yaitu spesies babadotan (Ageratum conyzoide) untuk kelompok penyakit luka luar. Pemanfaatan spesies tumbuhan obat dan pengetahuan terkait tumbuhan obat mayoritas berasal dari keluarga secara turun-temurun. | dc.description.abstract | Ethnobotany studies the relationship between humans and plants and their use in life, including as traditional medicine. Modernization has led to a decrease in knowledge about medicinal plants, especially in the Sundanese Kasepuhan community who still maintain ancestral traditions. This study aims to identify the knowledge and utilization of medicinal plants by the Sundanese Kasepuhan community and identify the potential of medicinal plants found in Girijaya village, Sukabumi district. Methods used include literature studies, interviews, field observations, and exploration. The results showed that 60 species of medicinal plants from 30 families were utilized, dominated by the Zingiberaceae family. Potential plants identified as having medicinal benefits were obtained as many as 17 species. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is the plant most trusted by the community as a medicine to relieve gastric diseases. Species with high information exchange between communities, namely babadotan (Ageratum conyzoide) species for the external wound disease group. The utilization of medicinal plant species and knowledge related to medicinal plants mostly comes from families for generations. The potential of medicinal plants has not been utilized by the Sundanese community of Kasepuhan Girijaya. | - |
