Abstract: Urban farming berkembang dalam upaya meningkatkan kebutuhan pangan dengan memanfaatkan ketersediaan lahan yang terbatas. Pelaksanaan urban farming tanpa penggunaan bahan kimia maupun sintesis dapat menghasilkan pangan yang sehat dan tidak merusak lingkungan. Dalam memastikan kegiatan urban farming layak untuk dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan, maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis persepsi masyarakat sekitar terhadap urban farmng Pabuaran Hijau (2) mengestimasi besaran kesediaan masyarakat dalam membayar hasil produksi sayuran sehat urban farmng Pabuaran Hijau. (3) menganalisis kelayakan finansial dan ekonomi urban farmng Pabuaran Hijau. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi skala Likert, Contingent Valuation Method melalui Willingness to Pay dan cost benefit analysis serta analisis nilai pengganti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) masyarakat Desa Cibanteng setuju keberadaan urban faming Pabuaran Hijau memberikan manfaat dalam penyediaan sayuran sehat yang mudah diakses sekaligus memperbaiki kualitas lingkungan (2) Nilai WTP yang didapat yaitu Rp 12.167 per kg (3) Urban farming Pabuaran Hijau layak secara finansial pada skenario III (hasil produksi dibeli seluruhnya oleh masyarakat dengan harga WTP) dan layak secara ekonomi pada skenario II (hasil produksi dibeli seluruhnya oleh masyarakat dengan harga yang berlaku di urban farming Pabuaran Hijau), hasil analisis nilai pengganti menunjukkan minimum harga jual sayuran yaitu Rp 7.417 per kg.
Urban farming is developing in an effort to increase food needs by utilizing limited land availability. Implementation of urban farming without the use of chemicals can produce healthy food and does not damage the environment. In order to ensure that urban farming activities are feasible to be developed sustainably, the objectives of this study are: (1) To analyze the perception of the surrounding community towards the urban farming Pabuaran Hijau (2) To estimate the amount of community willingness to pay for urban farming Pabuaran Hijau production results. (3) To analyze the financial and economic feasibility of the urban farming Pabuaran Hijau. The analysis methods used include the Likert scale, Contingent Valuation Method through Willingness to Pay and cost benefit analysis and replacement value analysis. The results of the study show that (1) the people of Cibanteng Village agree that the existence of Pabuaran Hijau urban farming provides benefits in providing healthy vegetables that are easily accessible while improving environmental quality (2) The WTP value obtained was IDR 12,168 per kg (3) Pabuaran Hijau urban farming is financially feasible in scenario III (production is purchased entirely by the community at WTP prices) and economically feasible in scenario II (The production is purchased entirely by the community at the prevailing price in urban farming in Pabuaran Hijau), the results of the switching value analysis show that the minimum selling price for vegetables is IDR 7,417 per kg.
