dc.description.abstractRemaja membutuhkan hubungan sosial yang kuat dan regulasi emosi yang sehat, namun banyak yang masih merasa kesepian dan cemas akibat rendahnya keterhubungan sosial yang dipengaruhi gaya hidup sedentari dan penggunaan media sosial berlebihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik remaja, karakteristik keluarga, keterhubungan sosial, penggunaan media sosial, dan perilaku sedentari terhadap perkembangan sosial-emosional remaja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatori. Lokasi penelitian berada di empat SMP di Kecamatan Bogor Tengah, Kota Bogor, Indonesia. Sebanyak 189 (99 laki dan 90 perempuan) sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan secara self administered dengan alat bantu kuesioner. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan Microsoft Office Excel 2013 dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 26.0. Status pekerjaan ayah, keterhubungan sosial, dan perilaku sedentari produktif berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosial-emosional remaja. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penyediaan fasilitas bagi remaja untuk terhubung secara sosial dan melakukan aktivitas fisik agar dapat meningkatkan perkembangan sosial-emosional.-
dc.description.abstractAdolescents need strong social ties and healthy emotional regulation, yet many still feel lonely and anxious due to low social connectedness influenced by sedentary lifestyles and excessive social media use. This study aims to examine the influence of adolescent characteristics, family characteristics, social connectedness, social media use, and sedentary behavior on adolescents' social-emotional development. The study employed quantitative approach and explanatory research design in four junior high schools in the Bogor Tengah sub-district, Bogor, Indonesia. A total of 189 adolescents participated in this study (99 males and 90 females). The sample was selected using cluster random sampling. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire. Data was processed with Microsoft Office Excel 2013 and analyzed descriptively and inferentially using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26.0. Father's employment status, social connectedness, and productive sedentary behavior had a significant positive effect on adolescents' social-emotional development. These findings highlight the importance of providing adolescents with opportunities for social engagement and physical activity to enhance social social-emotional development.-
