dc.description.abstractAVRAHERSATIADI RICCO GALANG ERLANGGA. Pemanfaatan Mikroorganisme Lokal sebagai Starter untuk Perbaikan Kualitas Tomat Beef di Agrotani Lembang. Dibimbing oleh MUH FATUROKHMAN. Produktivitas dan kualitas tomat beef di Agrotani Lembang terhambat patogen tular tanah, menghasilkan buah berkualitas rendah. Data menunjukkan proporsi tomat kualitas sedang dan tomat yang ditolak dengan total 36,5% dari produksi. Harga jual tomat ini berkisar Rp4.000-Rp7.000/kg, jauh di bawah harga tomat kualitas premium yang mencapai Rp17.000/kg. Penelitian ini menguji efektivitas aplikasi Mikroorganisme Lokal (MOL) humus bambu dalam meningkatkan kualitas, kuantitas hasil panen, serta kelayakan finansialnya. Metode eksperimental komparatif digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil panen dan jumlah buah secara statistik dan finansial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MOL humus bambu secara signifikan meningkatkan total proporsi buah panen kualitas premium meningkat menjadi 60% dibandingkan kontrol yang 43,9%. Uji independent samples t-test (t=-3,546; Cohen’s d=-1,27) mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan efek yang besar. Secara finansial, penggunaan MOL sangat layak dengan laba bersih yang lebih tinggi dan rasio R/C 2,44. Mengadopsi praktik budidaya dengan penambahan starter kompos MOL pada media tanam di seluruh anggota Asosiasi Agrotani Lembang. Kata kunci: Kualitas, mikroorganisme lokal, profitabilitas, tomat beef-
dc.description.abstractAVRAHERSATIADI RICCO GALANG ERLANGGA. The Utilization of Local Microorganisms as a Starter for Improving the Quality of Beef Tomatoes at Agrotani Lembang. Supervised by MUH FATUROKHMAN. Beef tomato productivity and quality at Agrotani Lembang are hindered by soil-borne pathogens, leading to low-quality fruits. Data indicate that the proportion of medium-quality and rejected tomatoes totals 36,5% of the production. The selling price for these tomatoes ranges from Rp4.000-Rp7.000/kg, significantly below the premium quality tomatoes which fetch Rp17.000/kg. This study investigated the effectiveness of applying Local Microorganisms (MOL) from bamboo humus in enhancing yield quality, quantity, and financial feasibility. A comparative experimental method was employed to statistically and financially analyze harvest results and fruit counts. The research findings demonstrate that MOL bamboo humus significantly increased the total proportion of premium quality harvested fruits to 60% compared to the control group’s 43,9%. An independent samples t-test (t=-3,546; Cohen’s d=-1,27) indicated a large effect size. Financially, the use of MOL proved highly viable, yielding a higher net profit with an R/C ratio of 2,44. Adopting cultivation practices incorporating MOL compost starter in the growing media across all members of the Agrotani Lembang Association.
