| dc.description.abstract | Kopi liberika merupakan salah satu jenis kopi yang dibudayakan di Indonesia. Kopi ini masih kurang populer dikalangan masyarakat Indonesia karena sedikit wilayah yang membudidayakan kopi ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian tingkat naungan terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kopi liberika serta menentukan tingkat naungan yang optimal untuk mendukung efisiensi pemanfaatan radiasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2024 – Desember 2024 di Kebun Percobaan Balai Pengujian Standar Instrumen dan Penyegar (BSIP). Metode yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan faktor tunggal yaitu perbedaan naungan (25%,50%,75%, dan 90%). Parameter yang diamati antara lain tinggi tanaman, luas daun, LAI, dan bobot kering tanaman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa naungan berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pertumbuhan kopi liberika yaitu diameter batang, jumlah daun, luas daun, SLA, LAI, dan biomassa kering total. Akan tetapi naungan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman. Naungan 75% -90% menunjukkan nilai yang optimum untuk luas daun, indeks luas daun, bobot kering total dan nilai efisiensi pemanfaatan radiasi yang tinggi. Nilai efisiensi pemanfaatan radiasi matahari yang dihasilkan pada naungan 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 90% berturut – turut yaitu 0,48 g/MJ, 0,53 g/MJ, 1,15 g/MJ dan 1,33 g/MJ. Tingkat naungan yang optimal untuk efisiensi pemanfataan radiasi yaitu sekitar 75% dengan menghasilkan biomassa total tertinggi yaitu 120,9 g/m2. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | Liberica coffee is a type of coffee cultivated in Indonesia. This coffee is still less popular among Indonesian people due to the limited areas where it is cultivated. The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of shading levels on the growth of Liberica coffee seedlings and to determine the optimal shading level to support radiation use efficiency The research was conducted from July 2024 to December 2024 at the at Pakuwon Experimental Station, Indonesian Industrial and Beverage Crops Research Institute. The method used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a single factor: different shading levels (25%, 50%, 75%, and 90%). Parameters observed included plant height, leaf area, LAI (Leaf Area Index), and plant dry weight. The results of this study showed that shade had a significant effect on Liberica coffee growth parameters, namely stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, SLA (Specific Leaf Area), LAI, and total dry biomass. However, shade did not have a significant effect on plant height. Shade levels of 75%-90% showed optimum values for leaf area, leaf area index, total dry weight, and high radiation utilization efficiency values. The solar radiation use efficiency values generated at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 90% shade were 0.48 g/MJ, 0.53 g/MJ, 1.15 g/MJ, and 1.33 g/MJ, respectively. The optimal shade level for radiation use efficiency was around 75%, producing the highest total biomass of 120.9 g/m2. | - |
