Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian wafer suplemen mengandung prill fat terhadap kecernaan nutrien dan grade feses pada domba yang diberi pakan komplit. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 kelompok sebagai ulangan berdasarkan bobot badan awal. P0 = pakan komplit, P1 = pakan komplit + 50 gram wafer suplemen, P2 = pakan komplit + 100 gram wafer suplemen P3 = pakan komplit + 150 gram wafer suplemen. Peubah yang diamati meliputi konsumsi dan kecernaan nutrien, serta grade feses. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan dilakukan uji lanjut duncan jika ada perbedaan nyata. Pemberian wafer suplemen mengandung prill fat pada level berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi lemak kasar (LK) dengan konsumsi tertinggi pada P3 sebesar 57,30 g/ekor/hari dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap kecernaan lemak kasar dibandingkan kontrol (P0), antar perlakuan P1, P2, dan P3, memiliki nilai kecernaan lemak kasar yang relatif serupa, yaitu berkisar antara 62,34%-66,13%. Tidak terdapat pengaruh nyata terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan nutrien lain, serta grade feses. Pemberian 50 gram prill fat mampu meningkatkan konsumsi dan kecernaan lemak kasar.
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of supplement wafers containing prill fat on nutrient digestibility and fecal quality in local male sheep fed a complete diet. A Randomized Block Design (RBD) was used with 4 treatments and 5 blocks based on initial body weight. Treatments were: P0 = complete feed, P1 = complete feed + 50 g wafer, P2 = complete feed + 100 g wafer, and P3 = complete feed + 150 g wafer. Observed variables included nutrient intake and digestibility, and fecal grades. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by Duncan’s test if significant differences occurred. Prill fat supplementation significantly affected (P<0.05) crude fat intake and digestibility compared to the control. Among supplemented groups (P1–P3), crude fat digestibility values were similar, ranging from 62.34% to 66.13%. No significant effects were observed on the digestibility of other nutrients or fecal grades. It is concluded that 50 g of prill fat supplementation was sufficient to improve crude fat intake and digestibility.
