Abstract: Suplemen merupakan produk tambahan yang digunakan untuk melengkapi kebutuhan gizi guna mendukung kesehatan, baik dalam bentuk cair, serbuk, maupun padat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang desain proses produksi suplemen burung puyuh dalam bentuk cair berbasis probiotik dan bahan herbal di PT Liza Herbal International. Proses produksi dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan 4 juta ekor burung puyuh dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 12.992 liter per bulan. Proses produksi melibatkan pencampuran bahan baku, pemanasan, pendinginan, penyaringan, dua tahap fermentasi, dan pengemasan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rendemen proses mencapai 74,52% dengan kebutuhan utilitas yang mencakup air, energi listrik, bahan bakar, dan uap panas. Penjadwalan produksi disusun dalam bentuk Gantt chart untuk memastikan efisiensi proses. Rancangan ini menghasilkan sistem produksi yang efisien dan siap diimplementasikan untuk skala industri.
Supplement is an additive product used to fulfill nutritional needs in supporting health, either in liquid, powder, or solid form. This study aims to design the production process of a liquid quail supplement based on probiotics and herbal ingredients at PT Liza Herbal International. The production process was designed to meet the demand of 4 million quails, with a production capacity of 12,992 liters per month. The production stages include raw material mixing, heating, cooling, filtration, two-stage fermentation, and packaging. The results indicated a production yield of 74.52%, with utility needs such as water, electricity, fuel, and steam. The production schedule was arranged using a gantt chart to ensure process efficiency. This design results in a production system that is efficient and ready to be implemented on an industrial scale.
