kelangsungan hidup benih ikan jurung.
Penggunaan padat tebar 3 ekor/L
mampu mengoptimalkan performa pertumbuhan benih ikan jurung Tor tambroides, commonly known as jurung fish, is a freshwater endemic species from the family Cyprinidae with high economic value. However, its cultivation faces challenges, particularly due to slow growth rates. This study aimed to analyze the effect of different stocking densities on the growth and survival of Tor tambroides juveniles. The experimental method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications: K (10 ind/L), PT3 (3 ind/L), PT5 (5 ind/L) and PT7 (7 ind/L). The results showed that rearing juveniles at a stocking density of 3 ind/L significantly enhanced both absolute length and weight growth, reaching 1,24±0,06?cm and 0,11±0,00?g, respectively. The daily length and weight growth were recorded at 3,36±0,03?cm/day and 0,23±0,01?g/day. Stocking density had no significant effect on survival rate or water quality, as all measured water parameters remained within acceptable standards. Therefore, a stocking density of 3 ind/L was found to be the most effective in optimizing the growth performance of Tor tambroides juveniles |
