Abstract: PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang makanan tepung bumbu instan, dan berbagai macam saus. Semua aktivitas mulai dari proses produksi hingga proses pengemasan sering kali terdapat cacat produk atau defect. Berdasarkan hasil pareto, cacat kemasan bocor merupakan cacat tertinggi yaitu sebesar 49% dan akan dicari faktor penyebab dan tindakan perbaikannya. Metode analisis pada penelitian menggunakan QCC dengan bantuan seventools. Data kemasan bocor sebelum perbaikan yaitu sebesar 17%. Faktor manusia, mesin dan metode menjadi penyebab kebocoran kemasan yang terjadi. Tindakan perbaikan yang dilakukan yaitu memberikan pelatihan pemeriksaan produk dan pengoperasian mesin kepada seluruh operator pengemasan dengan memberikan soal pre-test dan post test, mengganti cutter mesin yang sudah tumpul dan membuat IK tentang pemeriksaan produk dan IK tentang mesin pengemasan. Data kemasan bocor setelah dilakukannya perbaikan didapat sebesar 4%. Selain meningkatkan kualitas produk, tindakan ini juga berhasil menurunkan potensi kerugian perusahaan sebesar Rp 12.420.000 atau 77,9%.
PT XYZ is a company engaged in the field of instant seasoned flour foods and various sauces. All activities from the production process to the packaging process often have product defects. Based on the Pareto results, leaking packaging defects are the highest defect at 49% and will be sought for causal factors and corrective actions. The analysis method in this study uses QCC with the help of seven tools. Leaking packaging data before repair is 17%. Human, machine and method factors are the causes of packaging leaks that occur. Corrective actions taken include providing training to all packaging operators by providing pre-test and post-test questions, replacing blunt machine cutters and creating IK on product inspection and IK on packaging machines. Leaking packaging data after repairs is 4%. In addition to improving product quality, this action also succeeded in reducing the company's potential losses by Rp 12,420,000 or 77.9%.
