| Abstract: | PT.
kalium dan diberi nama NEBULA (Nutrient Enrichment Biochar Using for Long
lasting Aplication).
operasional prosedur PT. GGP. Rancangan yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini
adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan sejak
bulan pertama setelah tanam hingga bulan ketiga setelah tanam.
menunjukkan perlakuan 150% NEBULA bambu cacah nyata meningkatkan total
mikrob dan perlakuan 100% NEBULA LEB nyata meningkatkan nilai respirasi
tanah.
dibandingkan NEBULA bambu cacah. PT. Great Giant Pineapple (GGP) is a company engaged in the cultivation of pineapples and other fruits. This company produces a large amount of waste from the canned pineapple production process that needs to be managed. The waste generated by the company can be processed into biochar. The biochar used in this study has been enriched with nitrogen and potassium and is named NEBULA (Nutrient Enrichment Biochar Using for Long-lasting Application). NEBULA is one of the materials that can be used as a medium for controlled release fertilizer (CRF). Based on this, this study was conducted with the aim of examining the effect of biochar-based controlled-release fertilizer (NEBULA) on soil biological properties. The study was carried out on Ultisols in an 80-hectare area owned by PT. GGP in Central Lampung Regency, with pineapple as the test crop. The research used two types of biochar, namely chopped bamboo waste and Bromelain Extract Waste (BEW), each applied at four dosage levels: control (without biochar), 50%, 100%, and 150%, with three replications, resulting in 24 experimental units. The percentages refer to the normal doses of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers according to PT. GGP’s standard operating procedures. The experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD). Sampling was conducted from the first month after planting until the third month after planting. Eleven parameters were tested in this study: total microbial count, total fungi, nitrogen-fixing microbes, phosphorus and potassium solubilizers, soil respiration, earthworm biomass and population, as well as the activities of cellulase, invertase, and laccase enzymes in the soil. The results showed that the treatment with 150% NEBULA chopped bamboo significantly increased total microbes, while the 100% NEBULA BEW treatment significantly increased soil respiration. Additionally, the results indicated that NEBULA BEW biochar tended to give higher results in the observed parameters compared to NEBULA chopped bamboo. |
