Abstract: Urine sapi mengandung unsur hara utama seperti nitrogen (N) yang bermanfaat sebagai pupuk untuk pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kualitas fisikokimia pupuk organik cair (POC) berbahan dasar urine sapi perah yang difermentasi dengan menggunakan effective microorganism 4 (EM4), molases, dan rempah-rempah pada level yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pH, total dissolved solids (TDS), suhu, dan kandungan nitrogen total (N-total). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pH, TDS, suhu, dan N-total menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (P < 0,05) antar perlakuan. Perlakuan P2 (urine sapi+1000 mL EM4+800 mL molases) merupakan perlakuan terbaik dengan kadar nitrogen tertinggi sebesar 0,44%. Perlakuan P2 memiliki kualitas POC yang lebih baik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Kombinasi EM4 serta molases yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kandungan nitrogen POC yang penting untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dalam praktik pertanian organik.
Cow urine contains essential nutrients such as nitrogen (N) which are beneficial as fertilizer for plant growth. This study aimed to analyze the physicochemical quality of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) made from dairy cow urine fermented using effective microorganism 4 (EM4), molasses, and various herbs at different levels. The research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and three replications. The observed parameters included pH, total dissolved solids (TDS), temperature, and total nitrogen (N-total) content. The results showed that pH, TDS, temperature, and N-total differed significantly (P < 0.05) among treatments. Treatment P2 (cow urine+1000 mL EM4+800 mL molasses) was the best treatment, producing the highest nitrogen content of 0.44%. Treatment P2 had better LOF quality compared to other treatments, and the appropriate combination of EM4 and molasses can increase the nitrogen content of LOF, which is essential for improving soil fertility in organic farming practices.
