Abstract: Daun Kelor memiliki kandungan karotenoid dan kandungan nutrisi yang tinggi yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan kualitas warna ikan. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh penambahan tepung daun kelor Moringa oleifera pada pakan komersial terhadap pertumbuhan dan kecerahan warna ikan mas koki Carassius auratus. Percobaan dilakukan dengan empat perlakuan berbeda, yaitu DK0 (pakan tanpa penambahan tepung daun kelor), DK2 (pakan dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor 20 g kg-1 ), Dk4 (pakan dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor 40 g kg-1 ), dan Dk6 (pakan dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor 60 g kg-1 ) dengan tiga ulangan pada setiap perlakuan. Ikan mas koki dengan berat badan rata-rata 5,67±0,01 g dan panjang 6,25±0,01 cm ditebar dengan kepadatan 10 ekor per akuarium. Ikan dipelihara selama 42 hari dan diberi makan dua kali sehari dengan metode at satiation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, parameter pertumbuhan (biomassa akhir, bobot individu akhir, panjang akhir, dan laju pertumbuhan akhir) dan kualitas warna (hue, saturation, dan lightness) pada ikan mas koki yang diberi pakan yang disuplementasi dengan tepung daun kelor menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda nyata (p<0,05) dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun kelor dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan kualitas warna ikan mas koki, dosis terbaik berada pada perlakuan DK6.
Moringa leaves contain of carotenoids and high levels nutrients that have the potential to improve fish growth and colour quality. This study examined the effect of moringa leaf meal Moringa oleifera suplementation in the commercial diet on the growth and colour quality of goldfish Carassius auratus. The experiment was conducted with four different treatments, that is DK0 (feed without the suplementation of moringa leaf meal), DK2 (feed with the suplementation level of 20 g kg-1 moringa leaf meal), Dk4 (feed with the suplementation level of 40 g moringa leaf meal kg-1 ), and Dk6 (feed with the suplementation level of 60 g of moringa leaf meal kg-1 ) with three replications for each treatment. Goldfish with an average body weight of 5.67 ± 0.01 g and a length of 6.25±0.01 cm were stocked at a density of 10 per aquarium. The fish were rearred for 42 days and fed twice daily at the satiation level. The research results indicate that, growth parameters (final biomass, final individual weight, final length, and specific growth rate) and colour quality (hue, saturation, And lightness) in goldfish given fed with suplementation of Moringa leaf meal showed statically significantly different results (p<0.05) compared to the control treatment. Based on the findings of this research the suplementation of moringa leaf meal treatment showed increase the growth and colour quality of goldfish, the optimal dosage is at the level of DK6 treatment.
