Abstract: Perkembangan teknologi mendorong lahirnya media baru yang memberikan peluang dalam komunikasi publik, salah satunya melalui platform media sosial seperti Instagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas konten Instagram @kabupaten.bogor sebagai media publikasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dan Model EPIC (Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, Communication). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akun Instagram @kabupaten.bogor telah efektif dalam membangun empati, menyampaikan pesan persuasif, memberikan dampak positif, dan menciptakan komunikasi yang jelas dengan pengikutnya. Selain itu, kualitas konten visual, termasuk aspek tipografi, ilustrasi, fotografi/videografi, warna, tata letak dan logo, turut mendukung kejelasan pesan yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan produksi konten layanan publik yang lebih relevan, Secara teoritis, temuan ini memperkaya kajian efektivitas media sosial pemerintah di tingkat daerah dan memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan ilmu komunikasi digital. Technological developments have led to the emergence of new media that provide opportunities for public communication, one of which is through social media platforms such as Instagram. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Instagram content @kabupaten.bogor as a publication medium for the Bogor Regency Government using a descriptive quantitative approach and the EPIC Model (Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, Communication). The results of the study indicate that the Instagram account @kabupaten.bogor has been effective in building empathy, conveying persuasive messages, providing positive impacts, and creating clear communication with its followers. In addition, the quality of visual content, including aspects of typography, illustration, photography/videography, color, layout and logo, also supports the clarity of the message conveyed. This study recommends the production of more relevant public service content. Theoretically, these findings enrich the study of the effectiveness of government social media at the regional level and contribute to the development of digital communication science.
