| Abstract: | Produktivitas kacang hijau (Vigna Radiata L.) di Indonesia masih tergolong
rendah yaitu sebesar 1,13 ton ha-1 sehingga pengembangan varietas unggul baru terus dilakukan. Legum ini merupakan pangan sumber protein dengan kandungan protein dalam biji 20–25% dan protein kecambah (taoge) 12,04–16,09%. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi karakter pertumbuhan, daya hasil, dan produksi taoge galur kacang hijau IPB. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2024 sampai Februari 2025 Kebun Percobaan Leuwikopo, Departemen Agronomi dan Hortikultura, IPB. Penelitian ini menguji 20 genotipe kacang hijau (17 galur IPB dan tiga varietas nasional) yang ditanam dalam rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak faktor tunggal (galur). Pengamatan meliputi karakter pertumbuhan, komponen hasil dan produksi taoge. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakter yang memiliki ragam galat nyata pada karakter tinggi tanaman, panjang infloresens, bobot 100 biji, prediksi produktivitas taoge per 10 g biji, dan prediksi produktivitas taoge per 50 g biji. Genotipe F8-VR10/V1-6 memiliki keragaan karakter komponen hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan genotipe uji lain. Genotipe F7-Lom2/V2-1 dan Vima 5 memiliki keragaan potensi produksi taoge yang lebih baik dari genotipe uji
lain. Genotipe F8-VR10/V1-6 menunjukkan prediksi produktivitas yang tinggi. Mung bean (Vigna Radiata L.) productivity in Indonesia is still relatively low at 1.13 tonnes ha-1 so the development of new superior varieties continues. This legume is a protein source food with 20-25% protein content in seeds and 12.04-16.09% protein in sprouts. This study aims to evaluate the growth, yield, and production characters of IPB mung bean sprouts. The research was conducted from September 2024 to February 2025 at Leuwikopo Experimental Farm, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, IPB. This study tested 20 mung bean genotypes (17 IPB strains and three national varieties) grown in a single-factor randomised complete block design (strains). Observations included growth characters, yield components, and mung bean production. The results showed that the characters with significant variance were plant height, inflorescence length, 100 seed weight, predicted productivity of mung bean per 10 g seed, and predicted productivity of mung bean per 50 g seed. Genotype F8-VR10/V1-6 had a better performance of yield component characters compared to other test genotypes. Genotype F7-Lom2/V2-1 and Vima 5 has better bean sprouts production potential than other test genotypes. Genotype F8-VR10/V1-6 showed high predicted productivity. |
