Soybean (Glycine max L.) is one of the most important food commodities, rich in plant-based protein. Its productivity is often constrained by limited nutrient availability, particularly potassium, while the rising cost of inorganic fertilizers such as KCl has led to increased dependency, posing challenges for sustainable cultivation systems. Coconut husk is known to contain relatively high levels of potassium and organic matter, making it a potentially eco-friendly and cost- effective alternative source of potassium. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of combining coconut husk and potassium fertilizer on the growth of yellow soybean. The research was conducted at the IPB Cikarawang Experimental Field from January to April 2025. The experiment employed a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two factors, namely coconut husk (0, 500, 1000, and 1500 kg ha?¹) and KCl dosage (50, 75, and 100 kg ha?¹), each with three replications. The analysis showed that coconut husk contained 54.6% organic carbon, 1.66% K2O, and 0.36% total nitrogen. The highest productivity of soybean seed reached 3 tons ha?¹. Statistically there was no significant difference in productivity among the coconut husk and pottasium treatments. Higher pottasium dosages increased the number of leaves at 8 WAP (weeks after planting), productive branches, and reduced the number of empty pods. The application of coconut husk also contributed to a reduction in the number of empty pods. The interaction between coconut husk and pottasium did not show a significant effect on growth or yield components.-
