Abstract: Selat Bali merupakan perairan dengan potensi perikanan yang tinggi, ditemui banyak jenis ikan pelagis seperti lemuru, tongkol, teri, dan lain-lain. Kelimpahan ikan di suatu perairan dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan seperti kelimpahan difitoplankton dan suhu. Integrasi teknologi hidroakustik dengan teknologi penginderaan jauh untuk mendapatkanndata kondisi lingkungan dapat digunakan untuk estimasi stok ikan dan menduga daerah penangkapan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menduga potensi daerah penangkapan ikan pelagis di Perairan Selat Bali menggunakan metode hidroakustik dan penginderaan jauh. Data diperoleh dari dua periode pengambilan, yaitu April dan September 2023, menggunakan Echosounder Simrad EK15 untuk memperoleh nilai Target Strength (TS), densitas ikan, serta data suhu dan konstrasi klorofil-a yang dikandung oleh fitoplankton dari laman Marine Copernicus. Analisis data dilakukan dengan integrasi cell menggunakan perangkat lunak Sonar5-Pro dan pemetaan distribusi spasial dengan perangkat lunak ArcGIS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai TS meningkat seiring kedalaman, dengan dugaan panjang ikan berkisar antara 1,24–49,89 cm. Densitas ikan tertinggi pada bulan April mencapai 26.558 fish/1000 m³ dan pada bulan September sebesar 510.577 fish/1000 m³ yang menunjukkan agregasi ikan pada kedalaman tertentu. Sebaran ikan pelagis pada April dominan di lapisan permukaan dengan suhu permukaan laut (SPL) 28–30°C dan kosentrasi klorofil-a >0,5 mg/m³, sedangkan pada September lebih banyak di lapisan menengah dengan suhu 25–27°C dan konsentrasi klorofil-a >1 mg/m³. Wilayah dengan potensi kelimpahan ikan tertinggi berada di perairan Ketapang–Gilimanuk dengan kisaran konsentrasi klorofil-a 0,688 mg/m³ dan SPL berada 27,57 °C, pesisir Kabupaten Banyuwangi dan Jembrana, serta perairan tenggara dekat Kabupaten Badung dengan kisaran konsentrasi klorofil-a 1,033 mg/m³ dan SPL berada 27,42 °C
The Bali Strait is a water area with high fishery potential, where many types of pelagic fish such as lemuru, tuna, anchovy, and others are found. Fish abundance in a water area is influenced by environmental conditions such as phytoplankton abundance and temperature. The integration of hydroacoustic technology with remote sensing technology to obtain environmental condition data can be used for fish stock estimation and prediction of fishing grounds. This study aims to estimate the potential fishing grounds for pelagic fish in the Bali Strait using hydroacoustic and remote sensing methods. The data were obtained from two sampling periods, namely April and September 2023, using the Simrad EK15 Echosounder to obtain Target Strength (TS) values, fish density, as well as temperature data and chlorophyll-a concentration contained by phytoplankton from the Marine Copernicus website. Data analysis was carried out by cell integration using the Sonar5-Pro software and spatial distribution mapping using ArcGIS software. The results showed that TS values increased with depth, with estimated fish lengths ranging from 1,24–49,89 cm. The highest fish density in April reached 26,558 fish/1000 m³ and in September reached 510,577 fish/1000 m³, indicating fish aggregation at certain depths. The distribution of pelagic fish in April was dominant in the surface layer with sea surface temperature (SST) of 28–30°C and chlorophyll-a concentration >0.5 mg/m³, while in September it was more in the middle layer with temperatures of 25–27°C and chlorophyll-a concentration >1 mg/m³. Areas with the highest potential fish abundance were in the Ketapang–Gilimanuk waters with chlorophyll-a concentration around 0,688 mg/m³ and SST at 27.57°C, the coastal areas of Banyuwangi and Jembrana Regencies, and the southeastern waters near Badung Regency with chlorophyll-a concentration around 1,033 mg/m³ and SST at 27,42°C.
