dc.description.abstractAir limbah peternakan sapi mengandung senyawa berbahaya seperti amonia yang berasal dari proses pencernaan. Pembuangan air limbah yang tidak dikelola terlebih dahulu ke saluran pembuangan dapat menurunkan kualitas air dan menyebabkan eutrofikasi. Studi yang secara khusus melakukan penelitian efektivitas Microbubble Generator (MBG) dalam menurunkan kadar amonia pada air limbah peternakan sapi masih sangat terbatas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh waktu tinggal (HRT) dalam pengolahan air limbah peternakan sapi dan efektivitas MBG dalam mereduksi kadar amonia pada air limbah peternakan sapi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu percobaan langsung pengolahan air limbah menggunakan prototipe MBG selama 72 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu tinggal (HRT) pada aerasi menggunakan MBG berpengaruh signifikan (P < 0,05) serta memiliki hubungan korelasi sangat kuat pada parameter pH, Dissolved oxygen (DO), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) dan amonia pada air limbah peternakan sapi. Efisiensi penghilangan amonia hingga 43% sehingga teknologi aerasi menggunakan teknologi MBG tergolong dalam kategori cukup efisien untuk mereduksi kadar amonia pada limbah peternakan sapi.-
dc.description.abstractCattle farm wastewater contains hazardous compounds such as ammonia, a byproduct of the animals' digestive processes. Discharging untreated sewage into drainage systems can degrade the quality of water resources and contribute to eutrophication. Studies specifically examinig the effectiveness of Microbubble Generator (MBG) technology in reducing ammonia levels in cattle farm wastewater remain limited. This study aims to evaluate the influence of Hydraulic Retention Time (HRT) on the performance of MBG in treating cattle farm wastewater and to assess its effectiveness in ammonia removal. The methodology involved direct experimentation using an MBG prototype for a 72-hour treatment period. The results showed that HRT during MBG aeration had a statistically significant effect (P < 0,05) and a robust correlation with changes in pH, Dissolved oxygen (DO), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and ammonia concentration. The MBG system achieved an ammonia removal efficiency of up to 43%, indicating that this aeration technology is moderately effective in reducing ammonia levels in cattle farm wastewater.-
