Abstract: Meningkatnya laju pertumbuhan penduduk mengakibatkan berkurangnya lahan pertanian dikarenakan alih fungsi lahan untuk kepentingan non-pertanian.
The increasing population growth rate has resulted in a reduction in agricultural land due to land conversion for non-agricultural purposes. This encourages innovation in cultivation systems including intercropping patterns. Glutinous corn and cowpeas are commodities that are suitable for intercropping. Inorganic and organic fertilization is one solution to increase the organic matter content of the soil and is expected to meet plant nutritional needs optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum dose of Organic and NPK fertilizers in the intercropping pattern of corn and cowpeas in increasing productivity. This study was conducted from October 2024 to January 2025 at the Leuwikopo Experimental Garden. Post-harvest activities were carried out at the Plant Breeding Laboratory and the Microtechnics Laboratory. The study used a Randomized Complete Block Design with 2 factors, namely NPK and organic fertilizers, each with 3 dose levels and 3 replications. The results of the study showed that NPK treatment had a significant effect on the growth of glutinous corn as well as the variables of dry pod weight and dry weight of cowpea seeds. Organic treatment did not have a significant effect on all components of glutinous corn yield. NKL calculation < 1 in the intercropping pattern of all treatments. The optimum dose and the right Organic have not been obtained
