| Abstract: | Penggunaan perangkat seperti smartphone, smartwatch, True Wireless
Stereo (TWS), dan laptop telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan
sehari-hari. Namun, pemantauan perangkat gawai di dalam ruangan masih menjadi
tantangan yang perlu diselesaikan. Sistem berbasis Global Positioning System
(GPS) memiliki keterbatasan dalam memberikan lokasi yang akurat di dalam
ruangan karena sinyal GPS yang lemah. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem
pemantauan perangkat dalam ruangan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan
memanfaatkan sinyal Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) dan metode trilaterasi. Beacon,
yang merupakan perangkat yang dapat mengirim dan menerima sinyal BLE,
digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi posisi perangkat berdasarkan Received Signal
Strength Indicator (RSSI) dari sinyal yang diterima.
Proses trilaterasi menggunakan tiga beacon sebagai titik referensi untuk
menentukan lokasi relatif perangkat. Selain untuk pemantauan perangkat pribadi,
sistem ini juga dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bidang logistik untuk monitoring dan
pengelolaan inventaris di dalam ruangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
penggunaan teknologi BLE dan metode trilaterasi mampu memberikan solusi yang
lebih akurat dibandingkan sistem berbasis GPS. The use of smartphones, smartwatches, True Wireless Stereo (TWS), and laptops has become an integral part of everyday life. However, monitoring devices in indoor environments remains a challenge that needs to be addressed. GPS-based systems have limitations in providing accurate location information indoors due to weak GPS signals. This study develops an indoor device monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) by utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signals and trilateration methods. Beacons, which are devices capable of transmitting and receiving BLE signals, are used to determine device positions based on Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) values. The trilateration process involves using three beacons as reference points to determine the relative location of a monitored device. In addition to personal device monitoring, this system can also be utilized in logistics for inventory monitoring and management within indoor environments. The results of the study demonstrate that BLE technology and trilateration methods provide a more precise solution compared to GPS-based tracking systems. |
