| Abstract: | Induk ikan platidoras Platydoras armatulus jantan memiliki waktu
meningkatkan efisiensi produksi benih ikan platidoras. The male Platydoras armatulus broodstock has a relatively long gonadal maturation period, which is more than 40 days, and produces a low sperm volume. This condition becomes a challenge in breeding this fish. This problem-solving activity aims to accelerate gonadal maturation by providing different types of live feed. The activity was conducted at Tania Aquaculture using bloodworms, silkworms, and earthworms as treatments. Observations made included the gonadal maturation time, sperm volume, percentage of mature broodstock, and feed consumption until maturation. The results showed that the use of bloodworms significantly accelerated gonadal maturation with an average time of 33 days and increased sperm volume and the percentage of broodstock with mature gonads optimally. Bloodworms are recommended as an effective live feed to improve the efficiency of Platydoras fish seed production. |
