| Abstract: | Ikan nila Oreochromis niloticus merupakan ikan jenis air tawar yang paling banyak dibudidayakan di dunia melalui budidaya skala besar dan skala kecil. Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hidayah memiliki unit budidaya ikan nila yang dikelola oleh para santri. Pemberian pemahaman mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan kualitas air dilakukan dalam proyek akhir ini. Penghambatan dalam pertumbuhan ikan juga terjadi dikarenakan kurangnya pemahaman mengenai pengelolaan pakan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pemahaman kualitas air serta memberikan inovasi berupa penambahan EM4 pada pakan untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan ikan nila. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi pemetaan sosial, diskusi kelompok, Pembuatan bak tandon, pemeliharaan ikan nila, pelatihan alat kualitas air, sampling, pretest dan posttest. Hasil pengembangan desa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya parameter kualitas air diantaranya suhu, pH, DO, dan amonia serta pemahaman mengenai pengaruhnya pemberian EM4 pada pakan dalam pertumbuhan ikan. Budidaya ikan nila dengan penerapan ini menghasilkan pertumbuhan yang lebih baik dengan bobot dan panjang ikan nila yang meningkat. Oreochromis niloticus tilapia is the most widely cultivated freshwater fish in the world through large-scale and small-scale cultivation. Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School has a Tilapia aquaculture unit managed by the students. Providing an understanding of the importance of water quality management is carried out in this final project. Inhibition in fish growth also occurs due to lack of understanding of feed management. This activity aims to provide education and understanding of water quality and provide innovation in the form of adding EM4 to feed to accelerate tilapia growth. The activity stages include social mapping, group discussions, making reservoirs, raising tilapia, training on water quality tools, sampling, pretest and posttests. The results of the village development showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of water quality parameters including temperature, pH, DO, and ammonia as well as an understanding of the effect of EM4 feeding on fish growth. Tilapia farming with this application resulted in better growth with increased tilapia weight and length. |
