Abstract: Perkembangan Kawasan Metropolitan Bandung Raya mengalami tekanan urbanisasi yang tinggi sehingga memicu perubahan tutupan lahan yang masif, terutama konversi lahan pertanian ke lahan terbangun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika spatio-temporal lahan pertanian dan perkembangan wilayah di kawasan tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi analisis multitemporal perubahan tutupan lahan (2003-2013-2023), perhitungan Indeks Perkembangan Kecamatan (IPK) (2005-2014-2021), serta analisis klasterisasi spasial dan non-spasial dengan algoritma K-Means. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konversi lahan pertanian paling intensif terjadi pada radius 0-10 km dari centroid Kota Bandung, kemudian menurun bertahap hingga radius 50 km. Pola ini mencerminkan tekanan urbanisasi yang menyebar menjauhi pusat kota seiring meluasnya ekspansi perkotaan. IPK mengalami peningkatan signifikan, terutama pada radius 10-20 km, yang menunjukkan kawasan peri-urban sebagai zona pertumbuhan optimal. Tipologi wilayah berdasarkan pola perubahan tutupan lahan dan laju IPK terbagi menjadi tiga: urban, peri-urban, dan rural. Hasil klasterisasi non-spasial menunjukkan kawasan urban terkonsentrasi di pusat kota dan wilayah sekitarnya (radius 0-20 km), sedangkan kawasan peri-urban menunjukkan ciri transisi aktif antara karakter pedesaan dan perkotaan, namun lahan pertanian masih cukup dominan. Klasterisasi spasial menunjukkan bahwa bobot spasial 2 menghasilkan pengelompokan wilayah yang paling representatif, ditandai dengan kekompakan spasial dan homogenitas internal yang baik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan spasial dalam pengelolaan konversi lahan serta perencanaan wilayah berbasis tipologi untuk mendukung pembangunan metropolitan yang berkelanjutan.
The development of the Greater Bandung Metropolitan Area has experienced high urbanization pressure, triggering massive land cover changes, particularly the conversion of agricultural land to built-up land. This study aims to analyze the spatio-temporal dynamics of agricultural land and regional development in the area. The approaches used include multitemporal analysis of land cover changes (2003-2013-2023), calculation of the Subdistrict Development Index (SDI) (2005-2014-2021), and spatial and non-spatial clustering analysis using the K-Means algorithm. The results indicate that the most intensive agricultural land conversion occurs within a radius of 0-10 km from the centroid of Bandung City, gradually decreasing up to a radius of 50 km. This pattern reflects the pressure of urbanization that spreads away from the city center as urban expansion widens. The SDI shows a significant increase, particularly within a radius of 10-20 km, indicating the peri-urban area as an optimal growth zone. The typology of areas based on land cover change patterns and SDI rates is divided into three categories: urban, peri-urban, and rural. Non-spatial clustering results show that urban areas are concentrated in the city center and surrounding areas (radius 0-20 km), while peri-urban areas exhibit active transitional characteristics between rural and urban settings, though agricultural land remains dominant. Spatial clustering indicates that spatial weight 2 produces the most representative regional grouping, characterized by spatial compactness and good internal homogeneity. This finding underscores the importance of a spatial approach in land conversion management and typology-based regional planning to support sustainable metropolitan development.
