Koi fish are among the most popular ornamental fish in Indonesia. However, color degradation poses a challenge in the cultivation of Kohaku koi Cyprinus rubrofuscus. One approach to enhance coloration is through dietary supplementation with natural carotenoid sources such as spirulina and carrot. This study aimed to determine the most effective natural ingredient in improving color brightness in koi. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was employed with four treatments: control feed, 3% spirulina, 3% carrot, and a 3% spirulina-carrot combination. Kohaku koi measuring 5–6 cm were cultured for 40 days. Observed parameters included color brightness using the Toca Color Finder (TCF), growth, survival rate, grading, and economic analysis. The results indicated that the 3% spirulina treatment produced the highest color brightness score (22.37), with 14.3% of fish reaching grade A. It also yielded the highest economic return with the fastest payback period (0.26 years). Spirulina supplementation proved effective in enhancing both the aesthetic and economic value of kohaku koi
