dc.description.abstractPT. Natamas Plast adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi kemasan untuk industri farmasi dan kosmetik sesuai permintaan pelanggan. Salah satu produknya adalah botol Detol 2000 ml yang dibuat di area blow molding, tingginya defect yang dihasilkan menimbulkan tingginya retur dari PT. Sanpak Unggul. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis defect pada botol Detol 2000 ml menggunakan metode Six sigma dengan pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Dua jenis defect utama yang ditemukan adalah tebal tipis/baret sebesar 50,87% dan bintik sebesar 45,86% dari total defect sebanyak 7406 pieces. Penyebab utamanya meliputi kurangnya pengecekan rutin mesin, tidak adanya PIC untuk defect, serta form inspeksi bahan baku yang belum lengkap. Setelah penerapan usulan perbaikan didapatkan hasil perhitungan nilai sigma level dari proses produksi botol Detol 2000 ml. Nilai sigma perusahaan sebelum perbaikan sebesar 3,65 dan setelah perbaikan sebesar 3,74. Peningkatan level sigma berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan kapabilitas produksi sehingga PT. Natamas Plast masuk dalam kategori rata-rata industri.-
dc.description.abstractPT. Natamas Plast is a manufacturing company that produces packaging for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries according to customer demand. One of its products is Detol 2000 ml bottles made in the blow molding area, the high defects produced lead to high returns from PT Sanpak Unggul. This study aims to identify the types of defects in Detol 2000 ml bottles using the Six sigma method with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach. The two main types of defects found were thick thin/scratch at 50.87% and spots at 45.86% of the total defects of 7406 pieces. The main causes include the lack of routine machine checks, the absence of a PIC for defects, and incomplete raw material inspection forms. After the implementation of the proposed improvements, the results of the calculation of the sigma level value of the Detol 2000 ml bottle production process were obtained. The company's sigma value before improvement was 3.65 and after improvement was 3.74. The increase in sigma level is directly proportional to the increase in production capability so that PT. Natamas Plast is in the industry average category.-
