Perlakuan
terdiri atas P0= 0% TDG dalam ransum, P1= 1% TDG dalam ransum, P2= 2% TDG
dalam ransum, P3= 3% TDG dalam ransum, P4= 4% TDG dalam ransum. Peubah
pemberian 3% hingga 4% nyata (P<0,01) meningkatkan persentase bobot empedu,
menimbulkan stres fisiologis berlebihan. The health of internal organs and digestive tract is a factor in supporting quail productivity by feeding gedi leaf meal (GLM) which is rich in antioxidants. This study aims to evaluate the feeding of gedi leaf meal (Abelmoschus manihot L.) in rations on the weight of internal organs and digestive tract of quail. This experiment used 200 6-week-old quails reared until 16 weeks of age in a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replicates. The treatments consisted of P0= 0% GLM in ration, P1 = 1% GLM in ration, P2 = 2% GLM in ration, P3 = 3% GLM in ration, P4 = 4% GLM in ration. The observed variables were general condition, percentage of internal organ weight, percentage of digestive tract weight and relative length of digestive tract. The results showed that 1% GLM significantly (P<0.05) increased liver weight, 3% to 4% GLM significantly (P<0.01) increased the percentage weight of bile, pancreas, cecum, and colon, 2% to 4% GLM significantly (P<0.01) increased the percentage weight |
