Plants generally have an optimal range of soil moisture and water levels for their growth. These two aspects are crucial factors that determine plant development. Manual watering often leads to inaccuracies in water distribution, wastage of time and labor, and high operational costs. Manual irrigation is still applied at the BSIP Agroclimate and Agricultural Hydrology division, necessitating a more efficient solution to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of watering. In this study, researchers utilize Smart Farming IoT technology to measure soil moisture levels and water height in storage containers by integrating soil moisture sensors and ultrasonic sensors. The goal is to automate plant watering and water availability, improve environmental and plant monitoring efficiency, and achieve more consistent and optimal farming outcomes.
