Abstract: PT XYZ’s business unit faced operational inefficiencies from using spreadsheets for purchase and inventory management. This manual system impeded data integration, real-time analysis, and strategic decision-making, while increasing risks of error and complicating food loss analysis. This project aimed to design an Odoo Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with purchase and inventory modules to improve efficiency and support food loss analysis. The system was developed using a design thinking approach, from exploration to validation. The result is an integrated module prototype on Odoo v17 that manages both Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Case (JIC) procurement methods. Evaluation showed process time efficiency gains of 92.10% for purchasing and 88.79% for inventory. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) also yielded high satisfaction scores of 90 and 92.5. The system provides an integrated solution to support data-driven decision-making at PT XYZ.
