| dc.description.abstract | Proyek ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah media edukasi berbentuk video animasi yang menarik, komunikatif, dan mudah dipahami oleh kalangan remaja, khususnya siswa tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Latar belakang proyek ini didasari oleh kebutuhan akan metode penyampaian informasi yang lebih inovatif, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan gaya belajar generasi muda saat ini. Penyampaian informasi melalui presentasi konvensional, seperti slide PPT, dinilai kurang efektif dalam menjangkau minat serta mempertahankan perhatian siswa, sehingga diperlukan media yang lebih atraktif dan relevan secara visual. Oleh karena itu, teknik motion graphic dipilih sebagai pendekatan utama karena mampu menyajikan informasi kompleks secara visual, ringkas, dan menarik, serta dapat disesuaikan dengan karakteristik audiens remaja yang terbiasa dengan konten digital. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam proyek ini adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), yang terdiri dari enam tahapan utama: konsep, desain, pengumpulan materi, pembuatan (assembly), evaluasi (testing), dan distribusi. Proses produksi berlangsung selama kurang lebih empat bulan, yaitu mulai bulan Februari hingga Juni 2025, dan dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dalam tim produksi. Penulis mengambil peran sebagai editor, yang bertugas menyusun alur visual sesuai dengan naskah dan storyboard yang telah dirancang oleh scriptwriter. Setiap elemen grafis, ilustrasi karakter, hingga komposisi scene dianalisis dan disesuaikan agar mampu menyampaikan pesan edukatif secara tepat sasaran. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam pengolahan video adalah CapCut, yang dinilai cukup efektif untuk merancang motion graphic sederhana namun komunikatif. Seluruh elemen visual, warna, dan gaya animasi dirancang agar sesuai dengan preferensi dan daya tangkap remaja, tanpa mengurangi substansi edukatif dari materi yang disampaikan. Hasil dari proyek ini adalah sebuah video animasi edukasi berdurasi lima menit tiga puluh dua detik, yang memuat informasi mengenai sejarah, perubahan kelembagaan, hingga manfaat dari program jaminan sosial BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Video ini terbagi dalam 13 scene, dengan narasi yang mengalir ringan, ilustrasi dinamis, dan penyampaian yang tidak kaku, sehingga lebih mudah dicerna oleh audiens muda. Video ini telah didistribusikan melalui platform e-learning BPJS Ketenagakerjaan serta diunggah ke kanal YouTube resmi BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (dengan pengaturan Unlisted). Selain itu, video juga digunakan secara langsung sebagai media pendukung dalam kegiatan sosialisasi ke sekolah-sekolah, yang dilakukan oleh tim lecture BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Melalui distribusi ini, diharapkan video dapat menjangkau audiens lebih luas secara fleksibel dan berkelanjutan. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This project aims to create an educational medium in the form of an animated video that is engaging, communicative, and easy to understand for teenagers, particularly students at the junior high school level. The background of this project is based on the need for a more innovative, interactive, and effective method of delivering information that aligns with the learning styles of today’s younger generation. Conventional methods such as PowerPoint presentations are considered less effective in capturing students’ interest and maintaining their attention, thus requiring more visually appealing and relevant media. Therefore, motion graphic techniques were chosen as the primary approach, as they are capable of presenting complex information in a visual, concise, and engaging manner, and can be adapted to suit the preferences of a digitally literate teenage audience. The development method used in this project is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six main stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The production process took approximately four months, from February to June 2025, and was carried out collaboratively within a production team. The author took on the role of editor, responsible for arranging the visual flow based on the script and storyboard designed by the scriptwriter. Each graphic element, character illustration, and scene composition was carefully analyzed and adjusted to ensure the educational message was delivered accurately and effectively. The software used for video processing was CapCut, which proved effective for creating simple yet communicative motion graphics. All visual elements, color schemes, and animation styles were designed to match the preferences and comprehension levels of teenage audiences without reducing the educational value of the content. The final result of this project is a five-minute and thirty-two-second animated educational video containing information on the history, institutional evolution, and benefits of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan social security program. The video is divided into 13 scenes, featuring light and flowing narration, dynamic illustrations, and a relaxed delivery style that makes it easier for younger audiences to grasp. This video has been distributed through the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan e-learning platform and uploaded to the official BPJS Ketenagakerjaan YouTube channel (with Unlisted status). In addition, the video has been used directly as a supporting medium in school outreach programs conducted by the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan lecture team. Through this distribution, the video is expected to reach a wider audience flexibly and sustainably. | |
