| dc.description.abstract | Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus is a high-demand aquaculture species, creating opportunities for increased seed and broodstock production. While vitamin E is commonly used to induce gonadal maturation, it poses risks such as toxicity at high doses and reduced fat allocation during vitellogenesis due to elevated hepatosomatic index (HSI). An alternative approach involves combining enzymes, probiotics, and herbal additives. This study aimed to determine the best dose of Prolaczyme and herbal mix to enhance broodstock and larval productivity in Srikandi strain tilapia. The experiment included four treatments: control, Pr (Prolaczyme 10 g/kg), Hr (herbal mix 3 g/kg), and PrH (Prolaczyme + herbal mix). The Pr treatment showed the best results with an egg diameter of 2,27±0,18 mm, 9525 larvae, growth of 0,22±0,09 g and 1,72±0,78 cm, and 85% survival (8096 larvae). These results indicate that Prolaczyme improves broodstock reproductive performance and larval quality. | - |
