| dc.description.abstract | Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of the most widely cultivated freshwater fish species due to its relatively high market value. However, during the cultivation process, problems such as slow growth and high mortality rates are often encountered. Mitigate these issues is through the application of commercial herbal products. This final project aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the commercial herbal supplement Phycurma Aquatic on the survival and growth performance of Nile tilapia fry. Using a Completely Randomized Design consisting of three treatments and three replications. Two dosages of Phycurma Aquatic were applied 2,5 mL/kg and 5,0 mL/kg of feed, along with a control group without any supplementation. The fry used had an average length of 5 cm and weight of 4 g, with a stocking density of 24 fish per 175 L. The rearing containers were aquaria measuring 110 × 50 × 50 cm³. The treatment was administered for 35 days, from January 13 to February 17, 2025, at the Fish Hatchery Center in Ciganjur, Jakarta. The results showed that the administration of Phycurma Aquatic led to better outcomes, with higher survival and growth rates compared to the control treatment. | - |
