The need for lubricant use in Indonesia is 1,3 million KL/year, however domestic lubricant companies are only able to meet 908.360 KL/year of production needs. Efforts to increase the fulfilment of total lubricant need must be done through optimal inventory and logistics management. One of which is by implementing a hydro management strategy (base oil and additive) as raw materials. PT Pertamina Lubricants also plays a role by producing lubricant production of 240.000 KL/year from the total number of Pruduction Units. This study was conducted using the ABC Classification Analysis method, Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP), and Distribution Center with Break Even Point (BEP) calculations related to the implications of the logics network on hydro material in the lubricant production system. The results of the study indicate the importance of implementing priority raw material classification with effective and efficient distribution and receipt schedules through consideration of changing the mode of transportation in the Production Unit to achieve maximum production. |
