Evaluasi Pengukuran Produktivitas dengan Metode Objective Matrix dan Root Cause Analysis di PT XYZ

Abstract

PT XYZ adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang merupakan industri di sektor makanan dan minuman, perusahaan berskala nasional yang saat ini sedang berkembang. PT XYZ memproduksi beberapa produk minuman seperti minuman isotonic dan minuman teh kemasan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat produktivitas yang terjadi di PT XYZ yang dikarenakan tidak tercapainya target yang telah ditentukan oleh perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, metode Objective Matrix digunakan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi dan rendahnya tingkat produktivitas di PT XYZ dan Root Cause Analysis (RCA) digunakan untuk mencari tahu penyebab akar masalah yang terjadi. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa kriteria efisiensi penggunaan mesin menjadi pengaruh terbesar atas rendahnya tingkat produktivitas yang terjadi di PT XYZ. Untuk mengatasinya menggunakan Root Cause Analysis (RCA) dengan metode yaitu Fishbone Diagram dan 5W+1H yang menunjukan bahwa masih kurangnya preventive maintenance pada mesin dan kurangnya keterampilan operator dalam pengoperasian mesin.

PT XYZ is a manufacturing company which is an industry in the food and beverage sector, a national scale company that is currently developing. PT XYZ produces several beverage products such as isotonic drinks and packaged tea drinks. The study aims to determine the level of productivity that occurs at PT XYZ due to the failure to achieve the targets set by the company. Therefore, the Objective Matrix method is used to determine how high and low the level of productivity is at PT XYZ and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is used to find out the root cause of the problems that occur. The results of the analysis show that the criteria for efficient use of machines have the greatest influence on the low level of productivity that occurs at PT XYZ. To overcome this, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is used with the Fishbone Diagram and 5W + 1H methods which show that there is still a lack of preventive maintenance on the machine and a lack of operator skills in operating the machine.
