dc.description.abstractDuckweed merupakan salah satu bahan nabati yang tinggi protein dan ketersediaannya banyak di Indonesia. Salah satu syarat suatu bahan baku dijadikan pakan ikan dapat dilihat berdasarkan nilai kecernaannya. Penelitian ini ini bertujuan mendapatkan nilai kecernaan duckweed pada berbagai level inklusi di pakan ikan nila (Oreochromis nilocus).Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu L0 (100% pakan komersial), L25 (75% pakan komersial + 25% tepung duckweed), L50 (50% pakan komersial + 50% tepung duckweed), dan L75 (25% pakan komersial + 75% tepung duckweed) dengan masing-masing tiga kali ulangan. Ikan dipelihara di dalam 12 akuarium berukuran 50x40x40 cm dengan kepadatan 12 ekor setiap akuarium selama 40 hari dan pemberian pakan dilakukan 3 kali sehari secara at satiation. Konsetrasi Cr2O3 sebanyak 0,5% sebagai indikator kecernaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penambahan tepung duckweed pada pakan komersial dengan dosis 25% memberikan nilai kecernaan pada ikan nila yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan kontrol (p<0,05).-
dc.description.abstractDuckweed is a plant-based ingredient with high protein content and is widely available in Indonesia. One of the important criteria for selecting raw materials for fish feed is their digestibility value. This study aimed to evaluate the dosage and determine the digestibility performance of duckweed as a feed ingredient for Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments: L0 (100% commercial feed), L25 (75% commercial feed + 25% duckweed flour), L50 (50% commercial feed + 50% duckweed flour), and L75 (25% commercial feed + 75% duckweed flour), with three replications. Fish were reared in 12 aquaria, containing 12 individuals, for a period of 40 days. Feeding was carried out three times a day to satiation. The concertration of Cr2O3 was added at 0.5% as a digestibility marker. The results showed that the addition of 25% duckweed flour to commercial feed resulted in a digestibility value in Nile tilapia that was not significantly different from the L0 (100% comercial feed) treatment (p<0.05).
