The increasing demand for halal products in Indonesia and globally requires a more transparent, accurate, and reliable halal assurance system. This study aims to analyze the role of blockchain technology in strengthening the traceability system for halal food products in Indonesia and assess its impact on safety, quality, sharia compliance, and consumer trust. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), with data sources taken from international journals indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar between 2020 - 2024. The results of the study show that blockchain can improve traceability systems with its transparent, secure, fast, and tamper-proof characteristics. The implementation of this system has a positive impact on strengthening product integrity, improving the efficiency of halal audits, and building consumer trust in halal food products. However, this study also found gaps in implementation, particularly in the SME sector, which still faces infrastructure and digital literacy challenges.
