Soil erosion is a form of land degradation that can reduce soil productivity and cause environmental damage, especially in watersheds. This study aims to analyze the distribution of soil erosion in Cihideung Sub Watershed, Bogor Regency covering ±3,015 ha using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) method. The parameters used include rainfall erosivity (R) from CHIRPS data in 2019-2023, soil erodibility (K) based on data from BBSDLP Kementan 2016, length and slope (LS) from Digital Elevation Model (DEM), and vegetation management and conservation practices (CP) from Sentinel-2 image interpretation. Land cover consists of paddy fields, moorlands, mixed gardens, settlements, and forests. The results of the analysis show that the erosion value (A) ranges from 0 to 27.3 tons/ha/year, which belongs to the very light to light class, with varying spatial distribution. Areas with relatively higher erosion rates are scattered on moorland and mixed gardens located on slopes with moderate to steep slopes. Conversely, forested areas and rice fields on gentle slopes tend to have lower erosion rates. The results of this study can be the basis for sustainable watershed management planning.
