| dc.description.abstract | Aspek reproduksi memberikan gambaran bagaimana kondisi habitat kepiting bakau di habitatnya. Ekosistem mangrove sebagai habitat kepiting bakau di Desa Sungai undang mengalami degradasi yang masif, sehingga akan mempengaruhi kehidupan kepiting bakau. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan analisis reproduksi untuk mengetahui kondisi kepiting bakau di alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aspek biologi reproduksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2024-Januari 2025 di Desa Sungai Undang, Kabupaten Seruyan, Kalimantan Tengah. Pengambilan data kepiting dilakukan dengan metode penarikan contoh acak sederhana (PCAS) yang dilakukan setiap bulan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi distribusi frekuensi lebar, pola pertumbuhan, nisbah kelamin, ukuran pertama kali matang gonad, faktor kondisi, tingkat kematangan gonad, indeks kematangan gonad, fekunditas, dan diameter telur. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kepiting bakau yang ditangkap memiliki lebar karapas berkisar 64,25 sampai dengan 136,25 mm dari jumlah sampel sebanyak 180 ekor, pola pertumbuhan kepiting bakau secara keseluruhan adalah allometrik negatif (b=2,64), nisbah kelamin pada kepiting bakau betina lebih dominan dibanding jantan (1:1,4), faktor kondisi kepiting bakau memiliki nilai tertinggi pada bulan September, ukuran pertama kali matang gonad pada jantan lebih cepat dibandingkan betina, tingkat kematangan gonad dan indeks kematangan gonad tertinggi terdapat pada bulan September, dan potensi reproduksi kepiting bakau berkisar 302 625 sampai dengan 2 291 755 butir dengan pola pemijahan kepiting bakau ini termasuk total spawner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tangkapan kepiting bakau di Desa Sungai Undang tidak memenuhi ukuran layak tangkap, sehingga pengelolaan penangkapan yang memperhatikan aspek reproduksi sangat diperlukan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan sumber daya dan kelestarian lingkungan mangrove secara menyeluruh. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | The reproductive aspect provides an overview of the condition of the mangrove crab habitat in its natural habitat. The mangrove ecosystem, which serves as the habitat for mangrove crabs in Sungai Undang Village, has experienced massive degradation, which will affect the life of mangrove crabs. Therefore, a reproductive analysis is necessary to determine the condition of mangrove crabs in the wild. This study aims to evaluate the reproductive biology aspects. The study was conducted from August 2024 to January 2025 in Sungai Undang Village, Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan. Crab data collection was carried out using a simple random sampling method (PCAS) conducted monthly. Parameters observed included width frequency distribution, growth pattern, sex ratio, size at first gonad maturity, condition factor, gonad maturity level, gonad maturity index, fecundity, and egg diameter. The results of the study showed that the captured mangrove crabs had carapace widths ranging from 64.25 to 136.25 mm from a sample of 180 individuals, the overall growth pattern of mangrove crabs was negative allometric (b = 2.64), the sex ratio of female mangrove crabs was more dominant than males (1:1.4), the condition factor of mangrove crabs had the highest value in September, the first gonad maturity in males was faster than females, the highest gonad maturity level and gonad maturity index were found in September, and the reproductive potential of mangrove crabs ranged from 302,625 to 2,291,755 eggs with this mangrove crab spawning pattern including total spawners. The results showed that the catch of mangrove crabs in Sungai Undang Village did not meet the appropriate catch size, so that fishing management that pays attention to reproductive aspects is very necessary to maintain the sustainability of mangrove resources and environmental sustainability as a whole. | - |
