Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana, uji-t berpasangan (Paired Two Sample for Means).
Pine trees have a relatively long time for tapping recovery. The tapping recovery based on the parameters of the number, width, and depth of tapping wounds. Environmental factors such as altitude also play a role in the tapping recovery. The purpose of this study was to measure the width and depth of tapping and analyze its effect on the recovery rate of trees. The method used was a quantitative method by collecting data on tapping wounds in the top, middle and bottom positions on each sample tree at two heights from sea level (above sea level), namely below and above 800 meters above sea level in age class IV. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression, paired t-test (Paired Two Sample for Means). The results showed that the width of the tapping had a significant effect on the wound recovery rate, where the width of the tapping at the bottom of the tree showed the highest recovery rate, which was about 55% at an altitude of <800 meters above sea level and 31% at an altitude of >800 meters above sea level. In contrast, tapping depth had no effect on the recovery of tapping wounds. Setting the tapping width needs to be considered so as not to exceed the optimal limit with a maximum width of 4 cm and a maximum depth of 1.5 cm to maintain tree health.-
