A wound or vulnus is the loss/damage of a component of body tissue. Platelet-rich plasma is an autologous product produced from whole blood through a centrifuge process that produces a high concentration of platelets in a low volume of plasma. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of using PRP gel as a wound treatment. The research method used was by conducting research and observation, by applying primary and supporting data. Data analysis was performed quantitatively using Kruskal wallis and Friedman testing methods. Statistical tests showed wound size between test groups and wound scoring between test groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). In the healing time of open wounds, 5% PRP gel had an earlier response than 10% PRP gel, while for the healing time of incision wounds, 10% PRP gel was superior. The effectiveness of platelet rich plasma gel as wound healing was proven effective. Testing platelet rich plasma gel in open wounds was effective at 5% concentration, while testing in cuts was effective at 10% concentration.-
