Abstract: ROZA KHAIRANI. L. Perancangan Model Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) Kelayakan Calon Klien Sebagai Strategi Efisien Praktik Perencanaan Audit: Studi Kasus KAP HDT. Dibimbing oleh Bapak Fadly Alwahdy, S.A., M.Ak. KAP HDT belum memiliki Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) terkait dengan kelayakan calon klien untuk praktik perencanaan audit. Sebagai salah satu langkah awal dalam praktik perencanaan audit, dibutuhkan SOP terkait hal tersebut yang mana mencegah terjadinya beberapa dampak yang ditimbulkan. Dampak yang ditimbulkan diantaranya, auditor tidak memiliki pedoman yang jelas untuk mengevaluasi integritas manajemen klien jika tidak ada SOP yang jelas. Ini dapat menyebabkan auditor menerima klien yang memiliki risiko tinggi dari segi finansial dan reputasi, seperti potensi litigasi yang dapat merusak reputasi auditor dan KAP. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menjelaskan alur atau tahapan penerimaan klien dan membuat SOP kelayakan calon klien. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan SOP kelayakan calon klien beserta tampilan flowchart yang terstruktur dan juga bentuk perancangan formulir evaluasi klien.

Supervised by Mr. Fadly Alwahdy, S.A., M.Ak. KAP HDT does not yet have a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) related to the eligibility of prospective clients for audit planning practices. As one of the initial steps in audit planning practices, an SOP is needed related to this which prevents several impacts from occurring. The impacts that arise include, auditors do not have clear guidelines for evaluating the integrity of client management if there is no clear SOP. This can cause auditors to accept clients who have high financial and reputational risks, such as potential litigation that can damage the reputation of auditors and KAP. The purpose of this study is to explain the flow or stages of client acceptance and create an SOP for the eligibility of prospective clients. The research methods used in this study are interviews and observations. The results of this study produce an SOP for the eligibility of prospective clients along with a structured flowchart display and also a form of client evaluation form design.
