dc.description.abstractBeluntas (Pluchea indica) adalah sayuran indigenous yang memiliki daya adaptasi tinggi terhadap lingkungan. Tanaman ini termasuk tanaman tahunan dari famili Asteraceae yang memiliki kandungan bioaktif yang berpotensi baik untuk dikembangkan dalam bidang biofarmaka. Penelitian mengenai teknik budidaya tanaman ini masih terbatas, terutama dalam pemupukan untuk keberlanjutan produktivitas beluntas berumur empat bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis pemupukan menggunakan pupuk kandang ayam untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi beluntas berumur empat bulan pada musim hujan. Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Cikarawang, IPB University dari bulan November 2023 hingga Februari 2024 menggunakan tanaman beluntas berumur 18 minggu setelah tanam (MST). Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) satu faktor yakni dosis pupuk kandang ayam dengan taraf 0; 2,5; 5 dan 7,5 kg per tanaman yang diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian pupuk kandang ayam memberi pengaruh nyata terhadap peubah pertumbuhan seperti tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, cabang tersier, dan cabang kuartener serta kandungan N dan K daun. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan dosis pupuk kandang ayam yang optimal adalah 5,88 kg per tanaman untuk produksi bobot basah dan 5,44 kg per tanaman untuk bobot kering pada 23 MST serta 7,00 kg per tanaman untuk produksi bobot basah dan 6,98 kg per tanaman untuk produksi bobot kering pada 27 MST. Pemberian pupuk kandang ayam nyata menurunkan kadar total fenolik dan kapasitas antioksidan namun tidak berbeda nyata terhadap kadar total flavonoid serta produksi flavonoid dan fenolik.-
dc.description.abstractIndian camphorweed (Pluchea indica) is an indigenous plant with high environmental adaptability. This annual plant from the Asteraceae family contains bioactive compounds and has good potential for development in the biopharmaceutical field. Research on cultivation techniques of this plant is still limited, especially in fertilization for the sustainability of four-month-old P. indica productivity. This study aims to determine the dose of chicken manure fertilizer for the growth and production of four-month-old P. indica in the rainy season. The research was conducted at Cikarawang Experimental Farm, IPB University in November 2023 until February 2024 using P. indica plants that were 18 weeks after planting (WAP). A one-factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) is used, namely the dose of chicken manure at 0, 2.5, 5, and 7.5 kg per plant, with three replicates. The results showed that the application of chicken manure significantly affects growth variables such as plant height, primary branch number, tertiary branch number, quaternary branch number, and leaf N and K content. The regression analysis showed that the optimal dose of chicken manure was 5.88 kg per plant for fresh weight production and 5.44 kg per plant for dry weight at 23 WAP and 7.00 kg per plant for fresh weight production and 6.98 kg per plant for dry weight production at 27 WAP. Application of chicken manure significantly decreased total phenolic content and antioxidant capacity but was not significantly different from total flavonoid content, flavonoid and phenolic production.-
