| dc.description.abstract | Finance companies have a strategic role in supporting economic growth, particularly in providing financing to the community. However, a high level of Non-Performing Financing (NPF) remains a key challenge that may affect the performance and sustainability of the financing industry in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of Return on Assets (ROA), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), interest rates, inflation, and exchange rates on NPF in finance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019–2024. The analysis method used is panel data regression with the Random Effect Model (REM).The research findings show that BOPO, interest rates, exchange rates, and inflation significantly affect NPF. BOPO and exchange rates have a positive influence on NPF, indicating that higher BOPO or exchange rates tend to increase the level of NPF. Conversely, interest rates and inflation have a negative influence on NPF, suggesting that an increase in these variables may reduce NPF. Meanwhile, ROA does not have a significant effect on NPF. | - |
