Abstract: PT XYZ merupakan salah satu produsen pupuk terbesar di Indonesia yang mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk ikut serta dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pupuk bersubsidi nasional. Perusahaan ini memiliki permasalahan pada pengendalian persediaan, yaitu adanya bahan baku yang mengalami kelebihan maupun kekurangan. Bahan baku pupuk jenis NPK memiliki karakteristik penggunaan dan waktu tunggu kedatangan bahan baku yang bervariasi. Model pengendalian persediaan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik tersebut adalah metode probabilistik. Hasil penelitian ini mencakup nilai reorder point dan safety stock untuk meminimalkan biaya persediaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan titik pemesanan kembali bahan baku DAP dan KCL berada di masing-masing 13.567 ton dan 13.529 ton. Safety stock bahan baku DAP dan KCL sebesar 4.120 ton dan 4.809 ton. Dengan usulan titik pemesanan kembali dan stok pengaman, perusahaan dapat mengelola bahan baku secara efisien dan memastikan kelancaran produksi.
PT XYZ is one of the largest fertilizer producers in Indonesia which has the responsibility to participate in fulfilling the national subsidized fertilizer needs. This company has problems in inventory control, namely the existence of raw materials that are either excess or shortage. NPK fertilizer raw materials have varying usage characteristics and waiting times for the arrival of raw materials. The inventory control model that is in accordance with these characteristics is the probabilistic method. The results of this study include the reorder point and safety stock values to minimize inventory costs. The results show that the reorder points for DAP and KCL raw materials are at 13,567 tons and 13,529 tons respectively. The safety stock of DAP and KCL raw materials is 4,120 tons and 4,809 tons. With the proposed reorder point and safety stock, the company can manage raw materials efficiently, ensuring smooth production.
