Dried mahogany leaves and papaya seeds still contain bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and alkaloids, which have potential as natural biocoagulants in water treatment. Based on the optimal test results, the optimal biocoagulant in reducing parameters in treatment 3 with a dose of papaya seeds used more than mahogany leaves, namely 348 g papaya seeds and 116 g mahogany leaves. After being applied to the WWTP, the biocoagulant has an effect on reducing the value of BOD, COD and total coliform. This can be influenced by the work process, namely if the dose is too low, the coagulation process will not be optimal, while if the dose is too high it can cause turbidity to increase again. The biocoagulant production process is planned to involve the surrounding community so that the company not only contributes to more efficient and environmentally friendly waste management, but also supports the socio-economic development of local communities.
