Abstract: Ikan rainbow boesemani memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi dan diminati di pasar domestik maupun internasional.
Rainbow boesemani fish has high economic value and is in demand in both domestic and international markets. The high demand is not balanced with optimal production, this is because the nutritional content of the feed for the broodstock has not been met. One effort to improve the reproductive performance of the broodstock is to choose natural feed according to nutritional needs. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of differences in providing natural feed on the reproductive performance of rainbow boesemani fish. The research method used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications, consisting of mosquito larvae treatment (JN), silk worm treatment (CS), blood worm treatment (CD) and daphnia magna treatment (DM). The results showed that the treatment (CD) produced the highest number of eggs of 302 ± 3,055, a fertilization rate of 91.74 ± 1.78%, a hatching rate of 91.99 ± 1.84% and a survival rate of 91.74 ± 1.24%. Feeding using blood worms is recommended to be able to improve the reproductive performance of rainbow boesemani fish.
