PT ABC is a large-scale cattle farm that still uses manual processes for recording sales and cattle data, leading to inefficiencies, delays in information delivery, and potential data entry errors. This study aims to develop a barcode-based sales information system to improve operational efficiency and facilitate faster and more accurate delivery of cattle data. The proposed solution is a sales system using Microsoft Excel integrated with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and the implementation of two types of barcodes: QR Code for cattle information and Code 39 for input automation. The system development follows the Waterfall method, which includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The implementation results show that the barcode system successfully enhances operational efficiency, reduces paper usage by up to 65%, and strengthens internal control systems. This system also supports transaction recording, reporting, and structured, accurate, and faster information delivery to customers. |
