| dc.description.abstract | Dewa Family Farmers Group is a company engaged in the cultivation and marketing of paprika, and it has become one of the main production centers of paprika in Pasirlangu Village. An imbalance between supply and demand occurs within the group, where in 2024, paprika production only reached 115.35 tons compared to the total demand of 243.27 tons. Various issues in paprika cultivation can be influenced by several factors such as limited land area, unskilled labor, low-quality seeds, and suboptimal pest control. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect paprika production and evaluate the production efficiency in relation to input usage. The research was conducted during the 24th planting season using primary data collected from 27 active greenhouses, employing the Cobb-Douglas production function and production efficiency analysis. The results indicate that land area, labor, seeds, compost, and AB mix nutrients have a significant effect on paprika production. However, some inputs such as seeds, compost, and AB mix nutrients were found to be used inefficiently. Therefore, the implications of this study highlight the importance of optimal input allocation to improve both the efficiency and productivity of paprika cultivation. | - |
