Perancangan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Penjualan dengan Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Application di UMKM Oti Lab

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji studi kasus pada UMKM Oti Lab yang menjalankan proses bisnis dengan mengadakan alat dan bahan kimia. Sistem informasi akuntansi penjualan pada UMKM Oti Lab yang masih menggunakan sistem manual menjadi masalah utama. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Penjualan berbasis Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Application (VBA). Sistem ini dapat mengotomatisasi seluruh proses penjualan, mulai dari pencatatan transaksi hingga pembuatan laporan penjualan, dalam satu aplikasi terpadu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode tersebut bertujuan untuk memahami secara mendalam proses pencatatan penjualan di UMKM Oti Lab, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi, serta merancang sistem informasi akuntansi berbasis Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Application yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hasil evaluasi dan pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini berfungsi dengan baik, mempercepat proses transaksi, serta mempermudah pengguna dalam menjalankan aktivitas penjualan, sehingga mendukung kelancaran operasional UMKM Oti Lab.

This research examines a case study of UMKM Oti Lab, which runs a business process by procuring tools and chemicals. The sales accounting information system at UMKM Oti Lab which still uses a manual system is the main problem. To overcome these problems, this research proposes designing a Sales Accounting Information System based on Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Application (VBA). This system can automate the entire sales process, from recording transactions to generating sales reports, in one integrated application. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The method aims to deeply understand the sales recording process at Oti Lab MSMEs, identify the obstacles faced, and design a Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Application-based accounting information system that suits the needs. The results of evaluation and testing show that this system functions properly, speeds up the transaction process, and makes it easier for users to carry out sales activities, thus supporting the smooth operation of UMKM Oti Lab.
