| dc.description.abstract | Situ Burung dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar untuk berbagai aktivitas yang berpotensi terhadap penurunan kualitas air. Kondisi perairan dapat dipantau melalui indikator biologi seperti perifiton yang keberadaannya dapat dipengaruhi oleh jenis substrat dan kualitas air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, membandingkan, dan menganalisis struktur komunitas perifiton pada substrat berbeda untuk mencerminkan kondisi perairan Situ Burung. Metode penentuan lokasi pengamatan adalah purposive sampling. Pengambilan contoh perifiton dilakukan pada substrat teratai dan kayu dan pengukuran kualitas air mencakup parameter fisika-kimia. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perifiton yang ditemukan pada substrat teratai terdiri atas Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Euglenophyceae, dan Dinophyceae, sementara perifiton yang ditemukan pada substrat kayu terdiri dari Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Euglenophyceae. Rata-rata kelimpahan perifiton yakni 18.682-51.853 sel/cm2 pada substrat teratai dan 7.960-20.479 sel/cm2 pada substrat kayu. Substrat teratai didominasi oleh Chlorophyceae, sedangkan pada substrat kayu didominasi oleh Bacillariophyceae. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan kelimpahan Chlorophyceae dan Dinophyceae memiliki perbedaan nyata (p<0,05), artinya substrat teratai memberi pengaruh terhadap kedua kelompok tersebut. Berdasarkan kedua substrat, indeks biodiversitas perifiton mencerminkan perairan Situ Burung dalam kondisi yang masih relatif stabil. Namun tingginya nilai BOD, rendahnya kecerahan, serta dominannya spesies yang toleran terhadap pencemaran menjadi indikasi awal adanya tekanan ekologis. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | Situ Burung is utilized by the surrounding community for various activities that have the potential to degrade water quality. Water conditions can be determined through biological indicators such as periphyton whose presence can be influenced by substrate type and water quality. This study aims to identify, compare, and analyze the structure of the periphyton community on different substrates, to reflect the condition of Situ Burung waters. The method of determining the observation location was purposive sampling. Periphyton sampling was conducted used lotus and wood substrates and water quality measurements included physico-chemical paramters. The result of the analysis showed that the periphyton found on the lotus substrate consisted of Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Euglenophyceae, and Dinophyceae, while periphyton found on the wood substrate consisted of Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Euglenophyceae. The average abundance of periphyton was 18,682-51,853 cell/cm2 and 7,960-20,479 cell/cm2 on lotus and wood substrates, respectively. The lotus substrate is dominated by Chlorophyceae, while the wood substrate is dominated by Bacillariophyceae. Statistical tests results showed the abundance of Chlorophyceae and Dinophyceae had significant differences (p<0.05), meaning that the lotus substrate influenced both groups. Based on both substrates, the periphyton biodiversity indeks reflects that waters of Situ Burung in a relatively stable condition. However, high BOD values, low brightness, and dominance of pollution tolerant species are early indications of ecological pressure. | - |
