dc.description.abstractTujuan penelitan ini untuk menyajikan informasi mengenai pengaruh sistem ambing terhadap hasil produksi susu yang sedang menjalani periode laktasi 1. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam seleksi dan pemilihan bibit sapi perah yang unggul. Objek yang digunakan adalah 61 ekor sapi perah pada masa laktasi 1. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan cara mengukur 5 variabel yaitu volume ambing, kedalaman ambing, panjang puting, lingkar puting dan jarak puting. Terdapat 3 tahapan dalam analisis data di penelitian ini yaitu penyajian data secara deskriptif dalam bentuk tabel, perhitungan koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasi serta pengujian model menggunakan regresi sederhana dan berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi sederhana, mengindikasikan bahwa 4 variabel yang di teliti tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat produksi susu, untuk variabel panjang puting memiliki hasil p- value yang berpengaruh secara signifikan. Sedangkan, hasil analisis regresi berganda ini menunjukkan 3 variabel yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap produksi susu yaitu kedalaman ambing, panjang puting dan jarak puting-
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to present information about the influence of the udder system on milk production in lactation period 1. The results of this research are expected to be a reference in the selection and selection of superior dairy cattle breeds. The objects used were 61 dairy cows in lactation period 1. Measurements were made by measuring 5 variables, namely udder volume, udder depth, nipple length, nipple circumference and nipple distance. There are 3 stages in data analysis in this study, namely descriptive data presentation in tabular form, calculation of correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination and model testing using simple and multiple regression. Based on the results of simple regression analysis, indicating that the 4 variables studied did not show a significant effect on the level of milk production, for the nipple length variable had a significant p-value result. Meanwhile, the results of this multiple regression analysis show 3 variables that have a significant effect on milk production, namely udder depth, nipple length and nipple distance.-
