| Abstract: | Ikan nila Oreochromis niloticus adalah komoditas ikan air tawar yang banyak digemari masyarakat. Tilapia Oreochromis niloticus is a windely favored freshwater fish commodity. The high production of tilapia certainly needs to be supported by the availability of seeds with good quality, quantity, and continuity. The implementation of a special internship aims to carry out broodstock maintenance and fish spawning activities at hatchery. Broodstock maintenance used red tilapia strain larasati weighing 290±16,29 g (treatment broodstock) and 285±6,59 g (control broodstock). Spawning was carried out with a sex ratio of 1:3 using a natural method in bulk. Larval maintenance was performed for 21 days. The provision of vitamin E in feed at a dose of 225 mg kg-1 feed for 30 days showed optimal results compared to the control. The results obtained were an egg diameter of 2,70±0,01 mm, a percentage of mature gonad broodstock of 94%, the number of larvae produced was 1104 broodstock larvae-1 and the results of larval weight growth were 0,20±0,00 g. The maintenance of broodstock fed vitamin E can maximize production performance. |
